*About the Position -* The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction and coordination of all maintenance activities for a large injection molding maintenance department (Injection Molding).
Must be able to analyze and solve problems, poses strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, able to multi task and see initiatives through to completion, establish/adjust work procedures to meet schedules, enforce safety regulations, estimate job requirements, inspect work for conformance with blueprints, specifications and standards.
Candidate will be required to take an active roll in 3rd party audits of Plastek operations.
Pay & compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
5 to 10 years maintenance experience and experience managing a maintenance program in the plastics industry is preferred.
Candidate would ideally have understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) applications or Lean Management principles.
Familiarity with SAP business software preferred but not required.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Participate in TPM and continuous improvement activities
· Review production schedule and schedule maintenance activities accordingly
· Prepare for and participate in 3rd party audits
· Manage maintenance personnel and maintenance activities
· Assist and guide technical maintenance staff
· Enforce company policies and procedures
· Monitor key metric indexes
· Ensure ALL Safety Policies and Procedures followed
· Other duties may be assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
- 5+ years of Maintenance supervisory experience (preferred)
- Leadership / Supervisory skills
· Possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
· Be detail oriented
- Strong computer skills
· Ability to work well with others
· See projects through until completion
· Problem solving ability
