Roles & Responsibilities:
Document Administration: the overall administration of Quality Management System (QMS) documents including tasks such as document retrieval, creation, review, and update.
Includes (not limited to) heightened verification/validation activities, and resolution of formatting discrepancies and enhancements.
Quality Assurance: conduct quality checks to ensure documents meet internally established standards (based on the Quality System Manual (QSM).
Identification of enhancement opportunities and issue resolution (example – content inconsistencies/disparities).
Reporting: weekly status reports reflecting progress and results of document management activities.
Report out to PM and senior leader via Teams.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
QMS Document Administration
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, or a related subject.
Experience level – 2-5 years, proficient in Excel, Word, & technical writing.
Familiarity with tollgate processes.
Desired Skills:
Understanding of ISO Quality Management Principles, experience with Quality Management Systems and Quality standards.
Experience with Project Management, ability to coordinate across a matrixed organization, and strong team player.
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate approaches to solving problems, follow through, and has high personal energy and self-accountability, strong influencing, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / hours to be determined.
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
