Production support, triaging for providing the solution for Production issues.
* Assist the customer with determining testing needs, efficient use of test methodologies and practices.
* Attend project related meetings – Planning, Requirement Walkthroughs, and project level meetings etc.
* Work with peers and business customers to arrive at optimized business processes and business system utilization.
* Provide inputs on project level estimations, scheduling and review of test activities.

* Participating in Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and Additional Design Specifications (ADS) meetings with business teams to get clear understanding between application functionality and business requirements for finding any ambiguity, incompleteness or incorrectness, so that requirements are technically feasible.
* Understanding the complete client requirements and analyzing the existing Billing system to incorporate the changes.
* Performed multiple roles as a proficient in obtaining project requirements from user and manager, formulating the requirements into design specs, preparing system specifications, assigning tasks to team members, and tracking the progress.
* Preparation of high-level design HLD document from client requirement
* Preparation of low-level design LLD document (Technical Specifications).
* Preparation of test plans including unit plan and technical assembly testing.
* Development of Batch and Online mainframe modules using COBOL, Natural, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, ADABAS, SQL.
* Create and modify test and production JCLs/Procs / Parms as per the requirements.
* Actively using the SPUFI, & DB2 Utilities and involve into the SQL Tuning work efforts.
* Production Support for the post Implementation changes and documenting all changes and reference material,
* Answering Queries raised by customer/user.
* Perform Ad-hoc Reporting using DFSORT/ICETOOL and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) tools.
* Providing fixes for reported program errors.
* Participation in project plan development, development of solutions to meet functional requirements, provide accurate level of effort estimates for individual work and work of the team.
* Implement the features assigned in ServiceNow.
* Apply guidelines/best practices and coding standards for maintaining and developing new applications.
* Preparation of Unit test cases and executing the same to check all the requirements are met and existing functionality not impacted.
* Deploying code in different regions using Endevor and communicating the same to the testing teams
* Create/identify required test data for the application under test.
* Participate in structured code walkthroughs, architecture, technical design and code reviews.
* Coordinate with team members to ensure the delivery of the project deliverables on time, quality and schedule.
* Build knowledge of and leverage the following tools during day-to-day support opportunities: CA7/CA11, TSO, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, MQSeries, PQEdit, Endevor, ISPF, CICS
*Requirement Analysis and Effort estimation related job duties are as *follows.
* Working closely with the Business analysts to gather the requirements by attending discussions/walkthrough meetings with them.
* Clarify requirement related questions from the BA/SA/SME/Product Owners
* Functional analysis, impact analysis and estimate development work estimates.
* Attending test case walkthroughs with QA resources
· *Project reporting*
* Documentation and reporting, such as regular reports on work progress, code documentation, ticket fulfillment, SLAs, specs, designs, status reports, requirements, technical documentation, end-user guides, etc.
* Attending status meetings periodically and share updates to technical Lead/Manager on the progress of the projects and Enhancements/Defects.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $100,000.
00 - $120,000.
