JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Behrend's Office of Educational Equity and Diversity Programs (OEDP) is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Administrative/Programming Support Assistant.
Primary duties include:
Office support as well as assistance with planning events and transportation of students to field trips
Answering phones, taking messages
Greeting students who visit the office to meet with Advisers
Reserving rooms
Arranging transportation (including driving a van)
Publicizing events via posters and social media
Other duties as assigned
Work may include some evenings and weekends
Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have the ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds in a team environment.
Previous experience working at a secondary school level or college setting preferred.
Must possess a driver’s license and ability to drive a 15-passenger van
This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
A valid US
driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required
in addition to standard background checks.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
